Carolyn Adams

Ms. Adams holds a Masters degree in Ecology and Natural Resource Science and has extensive experience writing and reviewing peer reviewed research, analyzing data for meeting Quality Assurance criteria, and developing Process documentation; as well as gathering, tracking and analyzing Requirements documents. She is experienced in Configuration Management for IT projects, Software Quality Testing, Project Management, and Business Analysis. Ms. Adams is also Certified in Agile SCRUM processes and has provided training and coaching to software development teams.
Jesse Adams
Jesse AdamsPrincipal GIS Developer, Owner
Jesse graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geography, emphasis in GIS and Cartography. Jesse went on to St.Cloud State to earn his Masters Degree in Geography, emphasis in GIS and Cartography. Jesse has been developing GIS desktop, mobile, and web applications since 2001. His main focus is database development and custom desktop, server, and mobile applications. Jesse is a long time member of the MN LIS/GIS Consortium and served as Secretary Treasurer (2009-2011) on the board. He is also an active member of the Northern MN GIS User Group.
Hollie Parsons
Hollie ParsonsGIS Specialist
Hollie brings over 6 years of experience working with ESRI ArcGIS products to provide cartographic and GIS data solutions. She has worked with government agencies and private industry clients. She is very passionate about the power of GIS. Her current aspirations are to learn the computer languages of JavaScript and Python to enhance her GIS skills as the industry changes from ArcGIS desktop work to more web development solutions.
Liz Puhl
Liz PuhlGIS Web Application Developer
Liz holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Geography from Macalester College and Syracuse University, respectively, and a certification in software engineering from Prime Digital Academy. She has extensive experience in cartography, both for print and for the web. Her focus at North Point is on front-end development, using frameworks like AngularJS and Angular 2; she’s also keen on making applications user-friendly through good UI design.
Ethan Borgen
Ethan BorgenGIS Analyst
Ethan joined North Point in 2017 after graduating from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities campus with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and a minor in Computer Science. He is interested in combining GIS and programming to create new and innovative solutions. At North Point, his primary responsibilities include Python programming, managing and analyzing spatial data, mapping projects, and assisting with application development. Ethan enjoys making data more open and accessible when working with clients.
Caleb Shadis
Caleb ShadisWeb Application Developer
Caleb joined North Point in the Fall of 2017 and received his BS in Computer Science From Bemidji State University. Many years later he completed his Masters of Information Technology from Kaplan University. He started using the web over dial up modem with Gopher and has evolved to playing board-games with real people. Software Engineer, Woodworker, Blacksmith and eclectic collector of knowledge, skills and stuff.
